Tell me about it fella.
I may polish it up, it's only mild steel though (I think)
One of the dudes on v6clio has the same prob as me so is painting his black, I think i'm going to see what his looks like first.
The mesh thats there is dark grey, but as it's some chicken wire effort, it's not...
I'm in need of some thicker mesh to cover my discgraceful back boxes :o
Can anyone recommend some nice stuff ? Black if possible as I don't want to stray too far form the oe look (something along the lines of the stuff sm wrc had in his pics the other day would be great)
Or if any one...
I'm not sure if this is in the right section (if it's not please can it be moved)
Here goes, the other day some of brothers so called 'mates' put a bin on the top of his car, the bin was the usual round ones which are found outside fast food places.
The bin has scratched the roof of the car &...
They only take about 30 secs to get off.
Open the boot, pull back the carpet where the rear light is, unscrew the light, unclip the light holder (the block where the bulbs are) take off the light, get the fly out - then to the reverse to put it back together.
Should take about 5 mins:)
I saw an old girl (70+) in a red meg r26 the other day.
It was about a quarter of a car length over the give way line to the main road, I thought to myself look at that plank, I got the stock of my life when I saw the driver !
Excellent, i'll give it a go later on.
How do I back the phone up though ? & what is over the air ?
(I told you i'm no good att his sort of thing) Thanks folks
I've just read an old thread on how to do it , I assume that it will elliminate the crap running process of the phone if I update it ??
I've never updated firmware on a phone before, so I don't really get what it does:o
If I update it will it just make it run a bit faster & stop it from...
Get the paperwork for it, asuming it's an rac trackstar one (most of them are these days) give them a call, it's £120.00 per year & I think something like £300.00 for lifetime.
The lifetime bit it a bit of a joke, as it only applies while you own the car (it's not transferable)
^
Have you ever had one/driven/been in one ?
The mk2 is better imo (yes i've been in them as well) but I prefer the front end of the mk1 & the fact that it was about 5k cheaper to buy than a mk2. I also like the fact that mines stupidly rare too:)
The mk1 is by no means shat though.
Ask the seller what size the bore of the pipe is (eg 2.5") If it's the same as yours it'll fit. My guess is that it'll be bigger than your standard one.
I'm in agreement with superfastdan - I too was overwhelmed with amount of info in that ad;)
Chris - do what you think is right, not what someone whose never even been in/driven one thinks (I know that some on here are speaking form experience - others aren't)
You could go & see that silver on & fall in love with it & buy it, then (as said) sell it next year & get a mk2, the good...
