Just paint them while they're on the car. Hammerite smooth is good, get a 1/2 inch brush too & you'll be fine. You may need a small brush for the hard to get to parts though.

Personally I think that the wheels in the link you've given look awful, there are loads of better looking alooys out there tbh. Sorry, I can't say if they'll rub.

I got mine from Halfrauds, it's about half the size of the original fishing rod style one. It was a tenner, 6mm thread is what you need.
