it does matter which way round the bearings go mate.. 1 side of the bearing has a rubber seal

your next service 24k is oil filter and air filter. the 36k SHOULD be oil filter air filter and acces belt. although as the acces belt will be changed when the oil leak is done, you wont have to change it until 36k its current mileage. same with the cambelt, 72k from its current mileage. ask...

no after today uv got 72k for next cambelt change and 36 for the acces belt! which is a bonus!

not many people are mate.. ya cant blame the techs tho its all about poor management skills. whats ur alarm fault?

well theyll always book an extra day incase anythin breaks, like acces belt tensioner which are pretty shite, then if its done 1 day early = happy customer

as for the cambelt and aux belt it should be changed everytime its removed.. and the rocker cover doesnt come off without removing the pulleys.

yea they are the gold ones, theyre for 172 not 182 tho. Im sure they'll sell just wish id ov bought H+R to begin with

ive spent weeks tryin to set mine up mate.. not gettin anywhere with em. im savin for H+R already but im still gutted cus the gaz were £500

there just too bumpy and you cant push the car like you can on standard suspension, if u do it skips all over the road.. ive heard H+R are the best but there not cheap

the fanbelt tensioner is a right b**ch to get on

yea the kit does but i think the kits bout £150!! that little idler pulley is £50 alone.. but best to get it done.. cus if the fan belt goes they have a habit ov goin into the cambelt too

get under the car mate and u can c it betwwen the bottom pulley and ac pump. if u put a screwdriver to the idler as its running u can hear the noise through the screwdriver.. if that makes sense?? just be careful dont drop the screwdriver into the belt!

u wana check the little idler pulley between the bottom pulley and the a/c compressor. mines gone sounds like a plane
