if the cars still in warranty - end of story. i work at a renault dealer ( not statin which one, might get slated) when a dealer does warranty work, renault pay the dealer. so the dealer is making money either way. kick up enough and fuss they'll do it warranty
if they fitted the clutch last time then its probably there fault and they havent got a leg to stand on... if somewhere else fitted a clutch they mite try n use that against u. most dealers would just do it and claim warranty, there still getting paid.
they slide off mate. open the front door and slide the trim towards the front of the car..be carefull how you bond em on though.. numberplate stickers probably your best bet
could be a short circuit mate.. where the rear heated screen wiring passes from body to tailgate?? seen them rub through there.. ya need to go through the wiring diagram because theres probably more things running off that fuse.
could be many things
If renault have looked at it and cant c whats wrong with it then people on here arnt gonna know either. the gearstick movement could be the dogbone.. the steering play could be worn track rod ends/ rack... take it back to renault and leave it with em for a full day so they can do some head...
well if im wrong im wrong... i thought for the diesels and stuff it was 18k / 2 years. and the performance stuff was 12k / 1 year... maybe im confused with the cars on 9 k service intervals??
8200035999 - part number on the lambda sensor
8200036545 - part number on the box
its got a 4 pin connector and including the wire its bout 12 inches long.. if thats any help
there not cheap mate, probly a couple hundred quid for the unit.. im local in derby and i work renault as a tech.. if u want it replacing we can sort something out.
No its not engine out job but it is tricky..the lower cambelt cover is tight to remove., and the accesory belt tensioner is a pain. You will need the locking tools to do the job, pin to lock the crank, plate to hold the cams and the tool to lock the pulleys so they can be removed.
its about 5-6 hours labour @ £75 plus cambelt kit @ £150 and acces belt £25 so it is about right. an independent renault specialist will do it cheaper though
im not havin a dig at anybodys post.. and mines never been starved of oil. but it could be oil contamination etc. mine sounds fine when cold but when its warm you can hear a rattle from under the rocker cover. to chek it you need to remove the cambelt, top pulleys and then remove the rocker top
