Haha cheers mate. Makes me cringe watching it myself but thought i'd do it anyway. Get out of my comfort zone and all that.
Good thinking. I'll look into it!
I'd say if you want an off the shelf kit or a roll in roll out service that's 'proven' (reliable, good customer service etc) then Engine Dynamics is your best bet.
Don't remap it. Save your money and put it towards your next car. If you do feel the need to modify then look at changing the cars appearance and not its performance.
More than worth it. I'm not saying that my car is quicker than both my friends as that would be a lie (The A45 is in another league in a straight) but in the real world you can keep up quite easily, even more so on a B road.
I can keep up with my mates F-type S into triple figures. It's 380bhp but weighs just shy of 1600kg!
Also pulled on my friends standard 265bhp S3.
With a head start I can hold off my friends A45 up into triple figures, but past 110 he leaves me standing (that thing is stupidly quick) No idea on...
I got a new toy, a camera gimbal. Decided to go make a vid last night featuring the Cup and my brothers SV650. It's a bit long tbh, just a test edit/practice really. Thought i'd share anyway.
I'd have to disagree with @ForcedIndia, I see the logic behind what your saying however owning a boosted Clio isn't the ball ache it's made out to be. People don't post on forums moaning that their cars are working well - only when they're broken.
Mines had the ED kit on it since December 2015...
Perhaps, however I was under the impression your mpg reading will be way out because of the larger injectors. Mine reads 38 too but that's sure as hell not what I get when I add it up myself.
Not really. I'd say I'm pretty relaxed driving it these days. It's always been really bad on fuel. Hence why I now daily a DCI.
I assumed 250 miles to a tank or a little more was normal from speaking to a few others
As above I wouldn't go any higher than 250bhp if you want reliability. I've seen a few clios running that or above that eat gearboxes and constantly seem have issues - if the moaning Facebook statuses are anything to go by.
I've been running low boost 230bhp/235lbft for about 14 months now and...
I've noticed more feedback or vibration through the wheel on rougher roads but just as smooth of a ride on newer ones. Sometimes they can feel more crashy / bouncy on more challenging b roads but I think that's just because they're firmer. Personally I like them as my cars just a toy I use at...
What do people reckon on using stainless steel bolts for the engine mounts etc? Just want to replace a few under the engine bay as it's looking a little tired.
