I bought two C2 VTS alloys with brand new 195/45 R16 PE2'son them for £50 a few months back - the guy had hadtwo stolen off the front and they got disturbed before nicked back two, they've done 300 miles Sold the two alloys for £20 each = 2 300 mile old, off the rear PE2's for £10 :)

Prolly cos i work at Vauxhall then, tie rods are prolly things that go on every VX the most. Come to think of it, ive never seen a track rod end fail

Yea its the track rod end on the steering rack. Only thing id say is im an MOT tester, and very rarely see any fail on the track rod end, its usually the actual track arm - mine included lol. Fitted to track arms jobs a good un :approve:

Did 3k in a week last month round Europe, from MOT to MOT (May to May) i did 20,006 without knowing. Think this yr it'll be more, altho dont use it as much now the gf has a MCS

My 1st PH2 172 had 100k on it, drove perfect, until someone crashed into it, current one now has 87k on it - helped by 3k in a week round Europe last month, still returns 35mpg and pull like a good un! As long as you look after them, they'll look after you!

Try a different Ford, they were just using it as an excuse to drop the price - they'll still ask the same when selling it on the forecourt and ill almost guarentee they wont tell the new owner
