The gearbox mount that isnt on the 1.2, is it vital? Ive had nothing but trouble getting subframe off, and i just want my car back on the road lol Can i just cut the stud off but leave the actual mount there resting on the subframe?

Ford use a threaded chassis instead of nuts and bolts, so you just bolt into the chassis! Thing is, im thinking in the future in may need a clutch, im gonna have to do the same again!! Mind you, thats then, this is now!!

I did my Saxo ones, and was one of the first to do my foglights the same too Dont spray the lenses as thats ultimate chav, you take the cover off and work on the inside I found that they didnt give out much light after though, as you spraying some of the reflector My VTR...

It seems legit, at least if your both at the DVLA and theres a porblem, you can sort it out there and then He prolly just wants his plate back, and he can assign it to his new car at the DVLA office there and then

I did the same thing last week... My airbags didnt go off, but i bent the subframe :( I tracked mine up so it drives straight while i get a subframe for it, not bothered about the wheel for this month lol

My xenons are brilliant!! I dont think ill buy another car without them now if i can help it!

Regarding the GAP insurance, i work for Ford, and about a year ago there was a Police investigation at my dealer because one of the salesmen was seeling GAP to customers, then pocketing the cash himself. Its cost the company £56k so far, with maybe 100's of people still thinking they have GAP...

Bingo Buckled subframe :( :mad: Where the arm bolts onto it is rippled, actual arm looks ok though, but ill put one on anyway Track arms alright, and anti-roll bar looks ok, but b*****d subframe!!!! Rang a few places this aft, seems the 172 subframe is different to a 1.2, 1.4 one etc...

Im a technician for Ford so gonna bang it on the ramp 1st thing tomorrow. Im gonna shop about for whatever it needs to keep costs down, so think ill just make sure it drives straight tomorrow, at the moment it veers right

There she is! Yea, i paid £3250 for it, lots pf receipts, its only had the last two services at your local garage Jo3y, the rest are Renault. I serviced it at 96k at work using Renault parts, changed the pollen filter and now i keep getting loads of seeds coming through the vents lol! tried...
