certinally get it plugged in somewhere and see what it says. Alternatively buy an OBDII cable and software CD off ebay and plug in yourself. If it is the FBW throttle, it's not going to be a disaster. They are quite easy to source and value is low as all the people doing conversions want Ph1 parts.

Move out of our free country and into somewhere with a dictatorship where they make laws because "someone doesent like it". It's just another piece of ridiculous legislation to stop people doing what they want and having a good time.

Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread FFS it's only a valver gearbox, it'll be fine on that oil. and even if it isnt, a valver gearbox is all of £50 or 80quid these days. The GBox oil will be fine. I Great progress whiteley. Also interested to know about the wishbone bushes, eveyone else seems...

By injection computer, you mean ECU don't you? wow this is getting confusing now. edde can you explain a little further mate? The man with the MK2Ph1 1.4 (it was an MTV special ed i think) is having major problems with his central locking. The renault mechanics are telling him it's a problem...

From what i've seen it is a custom down pipe. as for the ARBs it's williams or R19 16v but iirc that peach of a hybrid you own has widetrack already fitted?

dude. not good. As i understand it, unless he changes across a load of electronics including UCH, barrell, key for 172, ECU then the ECU needs to be unlocked to remove the immobiliser and the wiring becomes a little tricky. Speak to one of the guys who has done it.

^ he's sitting next to me, says he'll sort it tommorrow afternoon. It's not a pretty thing, just something we knocked up, but it makes the head lights plug and play. We had uprate a fuse from 5 to 10 or something iirc.

B5 BDJ can sell you a loom conversion kit that will leave your standard loom entact.

Are they "paired" Can a man with a 1.4 MK2 Ph1 buy a UCH of a 1.2 MK2 Ph1 and get it working? what will be needed? UCH, keys, Barrell?

I've picked up my AGU 20v and my engine comes out tommorrow :) . Not going to be finished for ages yet though. Would love to see the photos. What turbo did you go for in the end? and is this the seat touring car block?

are we doing the "first PC i owned" competition? "mines sh!tter than yours" lets face it though, turbo buttons are serious WIN. I was pretty annoyed when I took apart an old PC to find the turbo button didnt have ANY wires coming off it and was just a dummy :(

^^ that, frankly is a really good deal. Not sure about the driveshaft, theres a good chance it'll be ok. Wishbone is a must, get a new ball joint while your at it. Check the anti roll bar link is ok. Most worrying thing is the subframe. That's a pretty big job to change. It'll probably be ok...

£15 for 16 inch wheels, £10 for 15inch and under near me. So £49 isn't all that bad these days IMO

Re: Valver Track Car Project Thread Agree with you on the white there mate, Silver would be ideal IMO praps a gun-metal grey. Ben was going to put it in the MK2, and I wish he still would but now he says he has MK1 plans for it. oh well.

If someone knows what these wheels are/what they're off..... don't keep it to yourself :)
