UCH and ECU

Injection computer, uch, keys. Has to be from the same engine and trim level as well i expect

wow this is getting confusing now. edde can you explain a little further mate?
The man with the MK2Ph1 1.4 (it was an MTV special ed i think) is having major problems with his central locking. The renault mechanics are telling him it's a problem with the UCH.
If there is no UCH then does the ECU control the bipper central locking? If so a 1.2 doner ECU isnt going to work with a 1.4 engine is it so that's no good.
