gains are proportional to the engine size. with that in mind, it's good advice just to buy a faster car. consider going older and faster, you will learn a lot if you are willing
1.8 16v clio MK1 can be insured from 18 or 19 at a push
Alternatively, consider the engine out of the above car for...
had you left it for a long time with the handbrake on (about 1.5 weeks or more)
Normally happens on rear disc cars but the handbrake will rust on.
As it's drums it could well be that the shoes have fallen apart as above. Probably quite cheap, don't worry
182s are so much easier than 172s.
Go for it. As said above, if you get nicked just swop your cat back onto it and forget the whole thing ever happened.
GT35 would be overkill IMO, but I do think a bigger turbo should be considered.
I think i'd personally go for standalone first so that I could tweak the map for any future mods i made myself. Something like emerald would also allow you to have 3 maps on a live switch.
Is that turbo the biggest...
The girl who's 106 gti he takes out in that video got very little in the way of compensation from norris.
About 2/3 the value of her car iirc. I'd be pissed off.
hmmmmm. I don't always buy that "timing belt has slipped" diagnosis.
Sure it's not oil starvation? did you check the oil?
What noise did it make when you cranked it to restart? If it's just that it's not firing it could just be a coilpack (dont normally go that suddenly) or a fly wheel...
they are normally sealed complete units (partly so that renault can make more money out of you).
Don't have part numbers myself, good luck mate.
free bump :)
RS tuner will certinally go some way to curing this.
They do run really badly from cold. Mine is hesitant but doesent kangaroo.
I'm just very very soft on it till it's warm. Yes that is an engine problem. But I would imagine they'd tell you there is nothing wrong with it.
Could try and wangle a...
I love the wheels, I get it. The wing mirrors are fine, the white stips would be fine, but the rest of the car is the wrong colour for it.
Neat though, very neat
Did i read in your prooject thread that the lambda was a bit fooked so you cleaned it?
When my valver was overfueling it was all down to a lambda sensor. Bought a brand new NGK one (was a quality part) for 50 quid or so. The instructions that came with it advised not to get any contaminents at...
That's a good point to think about. All exhausts should have flexibility built in. On a valver thats at the manifold>downpipe. Replace that with one pipe and you remove your flex.
If it was a supersprint manifold, it will be a 4-2-1 manifold that replaces the original manifold and downpipe.
I asked that question above. Keep up daniel ;)
