if you do a lot of motorway driving DO NOT GET THE SUPERSPORT!! i have one on my ph1 172, its loud, and it drones really bad on the motorway, thankfully i only drive around town as it would drive me insane on long journeys.

my rear arches are mint, no rust at all on mine. i do clean it a lot, and it spent most of its like in the south of england, i do also clean the rear arches out a lot with the pressure hose to make sure there is no crud in there, force of habit from owning a clio 16v and a williams a suppose.
my ph1 has a itg maxogen, ktec supersport cat back, matched inlets, would a rs tuner map make any difference? do they have a map for the above mods? cheers.
i was told not to bother decatting it, apparently the ph1 cat is free flowing anyway, so pointless fitting a decat, ur not going to see any gains. spend your money on matched inlets instead, the ph1 casts are rubbish so you will see more gains with inlets.
