Im sorry but average cars are mondeos, focus 1.6s, astra 1.4/1.6, polos etc the list goes on.
Try and get as much driving pleasure out of those as you can a williams.
don't get me wrong, I like V6s, I really do, and given the chance I would consider ownership.
But you are suggesting that the finished product is a more focused drivers car than a williams.
The V6 is commonly known for it's instability and dangerous tail end. Renault had to spend so much time...
The combimation of cornering ability and accelleration can be tested using the age old method of racing cars around a track.
quicker lap time = quicker car
Williams makes a quicker lap time.
Agreed there! the MK1s have better cornering grip IMHO except in the wet when they plain a bit.
Link to said evo reveiw or is it magazine only.
My valver will provide more grip through corners than my 172 end of. And the 172 is on eagle F1s to the valvers rainsports.
ditto that.
annoying it wont lock itself automatically when the doors have been closed but no motion is sensed inside for a bit.
Most other modern cars do that. good for peice of mind
as said. Check pipes. A blockage could be your problem. Get pipes off a car thats being broken. Be warned. The PAS pipes (around the pump) are phase specific. So if you have a Phase 2, you need phase 2 PAS pipes. I noted this doing my engine swap.
Make sure you give your new pipes a good ol...
are you doing this project out of a council owned garage out of interest? I'm thinking of getting one myself. If you are, mind me asking what your paying for it?
Awesome car this lads.
