as far as i am aware the only difference between the two systems is the cat/downpipe. And the two different ones are the same length anyway.

certinally isnt on clios. Even if twas electric, it still has to get the energy from somewhere. Doesent matter if the altenator takes the power or the PAS pump does
replace the throttle cable, or remove the pedal and give it a little refurb yourself.
Those are your options. Check that you didnt remove all the lube from the throttle body butterfly pivot when you cleaned it
