You'll have a hard time deciding if the dog bone is worn just by inspection. The dogBone is sometimes described as lower gearbox stabiliser. It connects the engine/gearbox to the subframe at the back. It has rubber bushes in it which wear. If they are bad then your gearstick will move backwards...
keep it. I would. Depreciation will hit you very hard and you will be gutted about it. Just think which desicion you would regret more in 6 months time
when you turn the key in the ignition but dont start the car, it can always be heard. It's the stepper motor in there. perfectly normal.

My thoughts exactly, When lowering a F7P/R into a Mk1, the room on the left is probably about an inch and the room at the Gbox end is probably about an inch and a half maybe. It's tight as a nun's chuff
218 euros is currently £165. can the pro kit really be had for £165 quid? Do we know how much shipping is? and do the maps cost extra. For instance if I were to fit Cams and wanted a new map, does that cost extra?

that'd be my diagnosis. On a mk1 i'd say rocker cover gasket. Since F4R doesent have a gasket, then it's the rocker cover sealant.

I agree entirely. Furthest I would go on my car would be turinis and CF splitter tbh. Anymore just doesent appeal.
