Hey!... I think I saw your car in the workshop when I picked mine up... is it lowered with black/dark alloys? (just from memory)... well mine made 220bhp on the rollers.. but my standard/crappy exhaust is causing a loss of power which I'm about to sort asap... even with 220 though it's awesome...

Oooh, yeah I see now - thanks for this I was not aware.. so the black on the bumper - this is a sticker?.. or painted black... I'll be sure to add this to the list of jobs.. and yeah, orange side repeaters and bulbs too... it's going back original...

So engine converted with the following spec, work undertaken by clioturbo:
Garret GT2554 turbo, cast manifold, megane 225 injectors, front mount intercooler, airfilter
EFI ECU Module running 8psi
Stainless steel downpipe / decat
New valeo clutch kit
Aircon delete kit / new...
Yep, I'm booked in July.. doing the same and getting a new Vaelo clutch, engine mounts, new cambelt and a few other bits and pieces... can't wait... just had an insurance quote back with the turbo on for £320 fully comp... all good.
No it's booked in with Andy @ Clioturbo... I wanted to do it myself, I spent many years rebuilding 5 turbos and love doing my own work, but for this one I've decided to get it done by someone who is experienced.. I want something solid that will serve as my daily driver...

Thank you, it will be an Adaptronic ECU, I have selected Clioturbo's stage 1 low boost kit as my turbo kit... I had to do this on a budget of about £3k, so barring an engine rebuild, new pistons, etc this works out within budget... and I think 240bhp should be plenty fast enough...

I need to replace rear shockers due to MOT failure (leaking shocker)....
Should I go genuine Renault? (Not bothered about a performance shocker as such)... or are the aftermarket ones any good?.. so far I've seen stuff on eBay like this...
Just put on a set of 4 Michelin ps3's for £203 fitted at Halfords... guy in there told me it had cost them £200 from Michelin and they were making £3 profit and must have been a misprice online?... Checked today and they're up to £57 a corner.
So the original set of F1s on my ph1 are 7" width.. yet a spare set I recently bought are marked 6.5..(using these for winter)...
Anyone know why the sizes would be different? Is it because they were bought aftermarket perhaps? They dont have renault centrecaps either, rather Oz ones....

So got my car MOTd at Kwikfit (yeah I know!).. but it was Sunday, etc..
Anyway, my mid section has some small holes in, and the backbox (2yrs old from Eurocarparts) is falling to bits already.. so ideally I'm gonna replace the mid section and backbox.
Kwikfit quoted £296 fitted...
Ok, so I'm losing coolant and I've found coolant dripping from the bottom of my radiator..
How easy is it to replace the radiator, and also where do I bleed the system?... I had a look in search / guides but can't see anything specific to changing a rad...

When I turn the steering wheel on full lock (when not moving), I get a snapping/clanking sound.. I've traced this to coming from the suspension unit on the drivers side...
What is the fault, and how easy to fix?... I think it's coming from the top mount.. I take it it's worn out or so...

There is a droning sound coming from the back end of my car which seems to get worse with speed.. am I right in thinking the rear disks have the bearings as part of them, so if I just go to EuroCarParts and buy some new rear disks/pads it's a fairly simple operation to have them...
Does your car rough idle much?... I had recent emissions failure on MOT.. computer diagnostics was saying CO2 sensor.. anyway to cut a long story short I changed the upstream lambda sensor and it passed no problem.. also seemed to smooth out the rough idling I had previously.
