Get a proper decat made, the standard one bashed out isn't brilliant for power tuning.
Got mine made out of stainasteel (sp) with two new flanges for around 80-100£
Easystart , try get it going with that. ( awaits for someone on here to laugh at me like last time... )
Its helped me sort things out over the times
Or like in the PM, check the fuel filter, HP pump failure will show up in the filter
If its the shield on the tank , leave it lol.
Rear one above back box, just rip it off.
That rear mount needed doing for months lol, you always said ' I'm going to solid bush it '
The jacking points are s**t anyway, you know mine have folded in lol
Atleast your getting it !.
One step at a time , think of it as a special cortina ;)
Last time I took a box out of a 100 I'm sure it was solid. Ring adam at Renault wolverhampton on here, he'll tel you for sure what they have. Mk3's have dual mass
Just mapp it then JP, decat will help spool up aswell. Will be surprised how much better they can be from just a map. Standard factory maps are just generic to save time
This is abit odd, yes it should be timed but I can be unset aswell due to the pump design. It can never be 180* out like the old style pumps.
Align pump sprocket marker to top bolt on pump, ensure belt marks also match ( genuine belts have marks , don't know about every other make )
crank at...
I was on about the non turbo 1.2 :o
I do see your point loud and clear,
I myself are a panzy at pumps and I actually wrap some cloth around the pump handle before picking it up lol!
Nothing's more horrid than oily diesel on your hands
Yeah the 65's have no guts at all, boggo standard engine Asfars as anyone will say.
My old man had one and it took forever to get past 100mph unless down hill lol
30mpg ain't bad going for 120mph !
Lol bit of a weight difference. At the end of the day, they're mile munchers not pocket rockets
I'm just happy it's saving me money in the long run on fuel/tax/insurance so I can have a better car later on
The 80's don't have that problem. Foot down and goodbye 65 ;)
I have to laugh at the big difference a 65 is to an 80 considering its just a map , injectors and a inter cooler
