Dan, can't you rebuild the mounting points for the wishbones to over come that? Possibly take the design of the golfs setup?

Yupp it's on their site. Pop corn mod is what the anti lag you can hear ( the diesel one they built) they also built a 1.8T with silly power.
Pop corn mod is something I'm trying to get to be added to the mapping, once I've found a AF Ecu.
I might aswell make a one off subframe out of box tube'n to suite the engine and suspension pick up points .
I assume you mean welding the inner cv joint of a 02m to the clio shafts ?

Dark side developements are epic, 320bhp 500+ torque from a 1.9/2.0 tdi lump, i think that in a clio shell will keep up with Craig's boosted banana :o
Subframe is a pain in the arse, the pd standard sump will foul the subframe so a dark sides development shortened sump will have to be fitted.
How are you getting round the drive shafts? I'm guessing the 02m shafts match the clio hubs?
I've measured up the pd lump with the 02m box on and it's a tight fit.
Plus the fact I'd have to throw away the aircon and power steering pump as space up front isn't big enough for rads + fans.
I'm hope'n the dci electric rack will hold up to 470 + torque
I tried specialist diesel components after dan ( your mate )
said I could get aftermarket Ecu's. but that company came up short and said they haven't and never will make one for a pd.

As above, really getting the itch to do this now, seems as the tuning ability of a 1.9tdi pd engine from a vw is very epic.

Take the injectors off and get the flow tested and cleaned by that diesel specialist.
Shouldnt cost much, I got my old set done for £50 next day turn around. Had another set recon for £180 and worked fine till the pump shat itself.
Imo if its not injectors , it's valve timming/clearances. Ie...
It's been done on here before. One I know of is attached between the suspension turret and wing. Drilled and tapped. Bolted down with a 13mm . Bonnet had a bracket tiger sealed on so the strut could attached to
Your fuel pump isn't likin that either by the sound of the noise it made on switch off.
Defo an injector f**k as the engine wouldn't bounce like that. The amount of smoke also indicates to much I burnt fuel.
If you have enough money, take the plunge and get a recon set.
