Exactly what I did last time - although it started working again once I'd taken off in 5th!

This may sound a stupid question, but if the slave cylinder fails again, is there anything I can do to get it in gear? It's more so that if it happens again, I can either rule out it being the slave cylinder or be sure it is that - if that makes any sense?

I personally was thinking clutch but it was only that once. I'm more confused why it would've gone in to gear with the engine off but struggled while it was on.

Renault main dealer or if you don't want to be bent over then become a member on here and check the car parts for sale/wanted section. Most exterior parts are extremely easy to swap over. Few screws is the most you'll have to do really. Things like the grill just push out and push the new one in.
