    Im torn between keeping the 197 or swapping to a 182

    Keep the 197 if it's small commutes. The 197 is much nicer to drive, more defined and an overall better place to be. The 1*2's are more "Go Kart" and as such, more of a "fun" car.

    Very overpriced in my opinion. Can get 197's for £3k now. I'd prefer to buy off a member because 9 times out of 10, there's a project thread on here with all the history you need to see!

    Did you keep the same manifold and just have the flexies welded in? I just replaced the lot tbh mate, saves further headache!
