Going to be about 4 metres away so was between 65" and 75", I think I'll save the money and go 65".
Looking at a viewing calculator is says 85" for 3.8m. That will take up almost the whole wall! No chance.
Bit of a silly question maybe, but is there an optimal size for an OLED TV, like once you get to a certain size the picture quality starts to drop off? or for a home purpose, 55", 65", 75" makes no difference?
What would be the best starter kit for a 4 year old? Guessing something like a G29? Any other options I don't know about? He spends every hour I let him sat on my lap steering so thought I'd get him something of his own.
Was out for something to eat yesterday and in the car park were some nice cars for a memorial car run.
I'm sure this was y old pot dealers car from 25 years ago lol
The Acer monitor I have only has one DPI port and I'm using the single HDMI port on the graphics card for the cheapo TV I'm currently running on the SIM rig,
Is there a decent DPI splitter I can get so I can swap my monitor from my work laptop to the PC? Hopefully without losing to much quality.
OK got it for like £3 the other day, not sure what I've done wrong but for some reason it doesn't recognise my throttle, not only that set all the settings for display to ultra on my crappy 1080p TV I'm temporarily using, looks s**t, the benchmark said like 600fps.
So ended up sat in the pits...
That is the problem with career mode I think. There are so many tracks just thrown at you that you'll never learn, I do the practice laps that are required that gets me 80% knowing the track but as soon as I am on to the next one I come back to a previous one and forget it all.
I've not played...
I've been giving this a good bash, only played career mode but when I started I was getting most 6's on the segments I'm now comfortably able to get 8s on anything but hairpins and tight slow corners/chicanes. If I really push I can get 9's but the chances of me completing a whole lap are not...
Just watched Matt Armstrong second channel video and his 11 year old camera man who laughs a lot has just bought a Lambo? Surely he can't be getting paid that much?
I quite liked the Donut channel but it seems to be a bit hit and miss now.
Also seems quite a few of the original/popular creators are jumping ship and not holding back on how they feel corporate have destroyed it.
BigTime has been good so far, hopefully they can keep up the content.
Cracking...
So AliExpress turned up, no problems at all, detected the 8nm straight off. Plug that came with the pack is tiny so guess it isn't fused, will find another out and job jobbed for £40 instead of Fuckyoutecs £150 one delivered.
Can also say night and day between 5nm and 8nm, so if it holds up I...
That would explain the no chance of compo reply then.
I almost bought the shifter the other night lol, that could have been another saga.
Boost pack coming later, what is the bets it breaks the DD and I'll have no chance with a warranty claim,
Think so, I couldn't even figure out how to start as I don't have a handbrake so after I'd be faffing about trying to start I wasn't straight.
First stage was something like 1st 4:20 I was somewhere around 6:30 so switched up and had a practice of the Rallycross instead.
Going to order the...
Cool, I'll try Dirty Rally 2 first then at a third of the price :)
I'm just using a 32" TV jobber the Mrs won in her works raffle, It is not great so will need replacing with something.
I'm a complete virgin to all this Sim Racing stuff, but absolutely loving it, between working all hours OT to pay for it and her milking me to decorate the living room I'm trying to manage my funds on what I think is needed in order.....
1) Boost kit - ordered as it is an easy win
2) Not keen...
Is there any way to run against your ghost car?
I fired this up for the weekend and I've decided I'm not very good. I'm down to light assists but still have the braking line on as I don't know the tracks, so I'd like to get a bit of practice in and chasing a ghost has always worked well for me.
