Yeah, i think Niko was in the wrong as he paid the owner directly and had no contract with the dealer as it was sale or return. Should have paid the money through the dealer to the owner to have any rights.
In my mind the dealer knew the car wasn't great and as advertised, that is why he made...
Yes, I think I missed a video but turns out it was sold with many issues that they've refused point blank to help with. Then also a few people who have worked with him in the past popped up with threatening texts etc.
Like you I didn’t mop that often but I think that was just because of the effort. World of difference with the robot mopping every day, looks so much better. With it plumbed to the mains it is no extra effort, fills, empties, cleans and dries the mop itself.
Mine is mid range price I’d say, I’d...
@seb almost a week in so far and I like it, you need to understand its limits but if you have large clear areas it does a brilliant job of mopping and vacuuming. I can do the hallway, Living room and kitchen/dining room x2 in one charge on full mega mop and suction. I've got it set to do two...
5 grand? That’s mental.
Ask my Mrs and she’ll tell you I’m about £1.5k, PC included.
Welcome to the game, whatever you tell the Mrs it costs is the true price.
sorry missed this, I've done many many hours of YT watching and have settled on the Switchbot S10.
Mostly because it has a docking station you can plumb in under your kickboard on the sink. It then uses that to clean and empty/top up its fluids. Advantage of this is that I've read a lot of the...
Looking at the Simagic wheels the cheapest road wheel with buttons is £400.
What do you mean by aftermarket? They are cross compatible with other brands?
Other option is Moza R12 with the CSV2P for £699 and that is QR out the box? Then add the KS2 wheel for £249 and I'm all in £949 or around...
I'm having a bit of a head scratch moment and getting myself confused.
want a GT\Formula style wheel
so Fanatec I can get:
Clubsport F1 wheel with a QR2 £239
But I then need:
QR2 Base - £60
QR2 Wheel side for my other wheel - £99
Total: £398
But I'm still stuck with my 8Nm CSL DD and tied to...
As of tonight I now have a fully working heating system with the TRVs and Hive.
All lights now controlled by Hue light switches with an aftermarket light switch cover over the old light switches that the Hues fit into. So no switching the lights off anymore.
Also been working on a custom...
Played the first two chapters last night. Really good fun, most under powered guns and over powered shield I think I've ever seen.
Might get a bit repetitive though.
I've got the Sonoff in the office.
https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/sonoff-zigbee-smart-relay-with-neutral?variant=54923427086715
I use this place for my Sonoff gear which had a neutral.
https://shop.pimoroni.com/
But they also do a non neutral one as well that I think I'll need for the...
I went for the fixed seat because the reviews I saw said there was quite a bit of flex on the back for reclining chairs under heavy braking.
Also, because I have the right hand side of mine up against the wall, with the handbrake being able to move the seat back is a saviour for getting in and...
It is rails on the rig itself. So yeah, it is not the seat, it is the rails that come loose fixing to the rig. I guess that is standard whatever seat you get.
July 2026?
I've got the Prime Lite Which I think is the same as the R but comes with the side mount, I've got the monitor mount fixed to the rig as well, probably wouldn't do that if I went back again although it does look quite cool. Only other issue I have is that I need to tighten the seat...
Yes and no.
100% agree it would have been easier to just setup with an all Hive system but the Hive TRVs at £30 each more than the Sonoff. I think I need 8 so that is £240 saved straight off.
Not looked into it yet but I can set scenes in Home Assistant. So I guess it would be possible to do...
More progress at lunch today (proper boring but I'm excited)
Been trying to get my head around how I could reliably turn the heating on and off if I had multiple TRVs in HA telling the Hive when it needed to switch the boiler on and off. Much time of head scratching I decided I needed one thing...
My Eufy S340 has been up a few months now and records on motion/people in performance mode not battery and it hasn't dropped below 80% battery life yet. Get a ping most mornings to say it is fully charged.
Great bit of kit.
Some more progress recently.
Hive Thermostat installed
Sonoff TRV installed.
I've got them both added to Home Assistant now so when I get chance I'll check I can control them from there and then work out the automation to control the Hive from what the Sonoff TRVs are wanting.
Also got a...
