In in the market for a racing blue 182, and based in the rest if the car being good I wouldn't pay more than £1200 as it needs another £1k on top and I would need to be saving a fair wedge over a 'goid one' to make it worth the hassle.

Superb car this. Dave was a good lad to but as has been said properly disappeared after selling up.

I've owned a 197 and currently own a ph1 172 and have driven many 182s. Choice between the two I'd buy a trophy everytime.

New water pump fitted and problem solved. It was the bearing on the old pump that had failed and was making the noise. Anyone want to buy a z3 with brand new water pump fitted? ;-)

Oil level ok, needs oil service though so will do that while I'm at it.

So just as we decide to sell it after trouble free motoring it decides to develop a scary sounding fault! At idle (and presumably under load but ive not tested as dint want to make things worse) it sounds like something is loose and rattling around the engine, Sometimes it's slow and loud...

Finished identifying interior loom and remaking it this morning, this afternoon is to install it all properly so I can make a start on making an interior!

I do love an oddysey.

Other than the induction setup is the engine standard? Good result if so!

My ph1 is on 143k now (done 12k in 6 months). Only bits its needed in the 6 months I've had it is a wheel bearing, washer bottle pump and a lower ball joint.

Actually, i take that back What do you want? An out and out track car? A weekend but trackable car? A weekend road car? Something else?

At this point I think I would sell, bank a couple grand and buy and insure something fun for next year.
