If my 172 had equivalent brakes to the the 197 then I'd be happy tbh. I prefer driving the 172 daily more than I ever did the 197, just miss those brakes!

Too expensive IMO. I sold my 197 cup on 58 plate over 18 months ago for 9k!
also that's not got speed lines that it says it does in the advert and can't see any mention of aircOn.
This thread is actually making me little sad. Just been browsing pistonheads and seeing all the amazing cars you can get for under £20k and all the time knowing my next car will be a derv :(
Orange won't ever look like that in real life. It will terrible.
Green stands a better chance of looking like the photoshop but again I think it will end up looking a bit naff.
Dual charging has a lot of complications and would be prohibitively expensive. You either need a clutch type supercharger with an ecu able to control it or a clever boost control system to stop the boost from the supercharger.
I've stayed out of this until now as I consider Matt a mate and my thoughts on the matter will be expressed to him and James if they care to hear them. Anyway I think the points been made enough and we should let the project thread continue without further bandwagon jumping, it's spoiling a good...
Apparently the boot of a ph1 is designed to carry 8 x 13 inch wheels wearing 205/60 tires. couldn't have asked for a better fit. Now just need to store them...
