since putting on my new alloys (gone to 15" from 14") my mpg has dropped from an average of 31mpg to an average of 27! is this due the extra width of the wheels or is something wrong??

how do i get my 1.6 8v it? Not that i can afford to dop anything to it right now, but thats my target figure if i decide to do exstenvive work to my car. Idea behind it is that with that kind of power I should be in the 172/182 leauge as my car would hopefully, still be around 200kg lighter...

at the moment i have standard 14" alloys and will be buying some 16" prorace 2's which weigh about 6kg. as these are light wheels will they affect performance at all? increase or decrease acceleration?

ok now not only is my gearstick squeeking like a pig being molested, but occasionally it wont go into first easily, takes a few attempts, and also now occasionally grates as i put into 5th. Any ideas anyone??

..gear stick and steering wheel. Whenever i change gear the gear stick makes a squeeky sound, like it needs a dose of wd40, and now the steering wheel has started, only noticeable when stationary. any ideas?

how easy r these to change? whats the ideal size for the 1.6e? will it give good gains? will i require a remap?
