I test drove one and wasn't impressed by the drive compared to the old 200. completly different cars though mind! Interior is a vast improvement however. But that gearbox, my god you could fit another gearbox inbetween the ratio's it would seem.

Yep the ones we use get through brake pads every day as well as rear tyres! & discs every few days.

To say an M3 is faster is very dependant. I've instructed in the current shape m3's and to be honest, they are no track car, the brakes are sh*t standard & they wallow about like you're land yachting. It really depends on who's peddling it. (they are however a great GT car). A vast amount of m3...

Agree'd on 0-60. Easy enough if you dont mind lunching your clutch. But I like mine to last.

Is that standard system with no silencer or cat mate?

A friend of mine who's not with us anymore :( had a MK5 ZS with a puma lump in it. It kept up with my C2 vts I had at the time. And my C2 was not even close to my clio.

If that's the case, that's not bad at all! I fancy getting mine on the rollers, may do after the next service.

Its certainly not as loud in the cabin (which I like). That video was taken after a 30 minute trip to work this morning, still pops a fair bit :)
