Front carpet out doesnt make a massive amount more noise than rear out. You'll get more transmission noise, more heat and be able to hear the rain under the floor though! Also carpet at front cuts out a lot of underfoot vibrations. Weighs a fair chunk though, and makes the car feel massively...

They're valver wheels. I guess you thought they were 2118's or similar? Without tyres and in need of refurbing thats pretty pricey, ive seen them go for that much with good tyres on!
