Ive properly stripped out the rear end, all panels gone and obviously this has added alot of road noise, which is fine. BUT I was going to pull up all my carpet when I changed my seats but djroberts made me think today that if that I do that, is there going to be a shed load of extra road noise from doing so?

Front carpet out doesnt make a massive amount more noise than rear out. You'll get more transmission noise, more heat and be able to hear the rain under the floor though! Also carpet at front cuts out a lot of underfoot vibrations.

Weighs a fair chunk though, and makes the car feel massively uncivilised. Unless its doing a lot of tracktime/ you're going balls out with it id leave it in.
