All the rs clio's I have ever driven haven't been all that smooth from cold mate. Obviously when the engine is cold the motor will be running choke, you shouldn't be giving it stick at this time because the oil temp is still low.
and 5th gear at 30mph? lol I'm pretty sure my 200 would judder at...
Removing the manifold will be an arse ache mate. Without seein the extent of the bodge it's hard really to understand whether you need to remove it or not. I imagine your probably will.
From my experience all 200's I've driven sound like the exhaust is blowing on a cold start lol. But that is a terrible job, looks like they've just put a load of pug in it.
In fairness that pretty much puts you out of the catagory of most previous RS owners IMO.
I believe Renault will have lost many of there old customers with the new car, but we shall see.
