I've always fancied something like that as I work on the tech side for a main distributor of Jap parts, never got round to it tho.
Can't wait to see yours.
I have to say mate, I think you've miss-taken what chip meant, he was only advising that you have a proper look at them as from what you saids wrong with the vehicle is far from ideal.
Note: I changed my standard pads within 8k of getting my 200 as I wasn't keen on the originals for what I use...
I find that the pads glaze very easily on the 200, which would cause what your reporting.
Go out & do a few hard braking sets on a clear road at a reasonable speed, then drive a little without using them to cool them down, works for me.
I think this has been covered above mate,
Likely was driving to fast (without cup spoiler) got out of shape & slipped out of seat (no recaros), thus crashing.
My sisters other halfs 172 cup isn't as bad as yours sounds but my 200 isn't far & so is every 200 I've driven. Mines not as bad when I leave it to run for a few minutes before setting off (which I do 99% of the time anyway).
Having spoken to Renault they're not bothered that I've removed the centre silencer on my 200.
I was wondering whether they'd be funny about the second cat being removed?
I understand this voids the exhaust warranty etc, but this is still legal as it will pass emissions tests with the one...
All oppinion ofcourse mate but if it was me I'd go with something like this...
