SRF is overkill for these in my op especially on the price. I used Motul 600. Ap 600 is also good and any others around that boiling temp.

Go in hot hard on the brakes to get weight over the front, power through to apex & lift off mid corner which will get the back out like a hero (or if you have no minerals you'll end up binning it). At low speeds, wrong line & upsetting the balance of the car will also cause it.

Engines do come up mate, don't think it matters whether it's a 172 or 182. If it was me I'd chuck a lower mileage 182 engine in it...

Sounds Hydraulic to me. Could be a concentric fault (assuming the 1.2 MK3's are)
