    Shouldn't be moving if you've got the pulleys locked with the genuine tools and they're done up tight.

    Couldn't tell you tbh, but i'd imagine so. On a standard car it would seem pointless as Renault would have designed the suspension geometry to work effectively at standard ride height.

    Whatever it is seems clutch/gearbox related anyway. So i suspect it's going to need to come off either way if it is to be fixed.

    Odd one, you'd expect it to make a noise any time the clutch pedal isn't pressed.

    If it stops when you press the clutch pedal it's probably the clutch release bearing.
