You have it easy Lee. Try finding something thats good for the commute, has a half decent turn of speed, but is cheap enough for a young driver to insure in her own name :(

Presume the rear strutbrace will be bolted to the side of the strut towers? Without strengthening the towers it wouldn't be very safe. Are you having a cage? if not then mount harneses to the original rear seatbelt anchors.

Maybe, but every thread on here about cam belts being done by anyone other than a specialist is a bad one. maybe not immediately, but then they get it rolling roaded and are 30% down on power, or it breaks 6months later when the tensioner dissentegrates, or something else equally rubbish.
Neither will show those gains.
