Well il post a couple of my filthy car later on after football but i couldnt get the blurring i was after! Yeah it was to a certain extent but i thought i would get better results with the panning being more steady!

I have a 300d that I started out on! Produced some good images too! Just, as said, bit dated now! Mpbphotographic had some nrilliant deals ok last week so keep an eye out on there!

Anything rusty!! Great detail! It's just with the 18-55 at distance you cant make out the detail that much which is why i use HDR but toned down.

LOL ian your right. Canon 20D with a sigma 70-300mm lens Some were usin the 18-55mm lens! I'm after a nifty fifty now or a 10-20! Thanks for the comments!

Never used a D60 but I've had two canon dslrs! Really like the canons, easy to use and produce some Cracking images! Suppose it's like evo vs scooby for a brand name tbh!

IMO yes, you won't be disapointed with the lens at all! Have a look in my wildlife thread.. all the photos in there are taken with the sigma 70-300mm.

I swear by this sigma lens. I've used canon telephoto lenses and the clarity is nowhere near as good as the sigma!

Im in manual mate, i always use it even with my 300D i used manual mode. for the in flight photos i used AI servo and the stills i left it on AI focus incase they decided to move! what problems did you have with the 20D focusing?

They are all handheld mate, a tripod would have probably scared em all off lol
