@Brucefil just found your thread. You can give a proper update, but car has progressed a lot very recently.

Y You need the usb plugged into to laptop too, as well as the cable that runs to the ecu. As you see the usb dongle has a code that unlocks the software in order for it to connect to the ecu and Authenticate itself.

If one had Cat Cam 428s already installed and were doing belts, could you: a) Use Oe renault timing gear b) Only use Cat Cam timing gear c) Use Group N timing gear or d) none of the above ?
