Yeah. Need to use them at certain track temps. Soft tyres on hot days will be no good. Winter track days you want soft/medium.

If you want to go fast it'll be at the expense of the tyre. You need softer tyres for the grip.

Used track tyres open up your options to the more expensive and better tyres, Dunlop DZ03g, Kumho V70, Yokohama A048. If you want new tyres at the cheaper end then i'd look at Nankang AR-1 or R888R.

Whole new machined hub flange thingy pressed into the bearing by the looks of it.

They are softer than AD08's so i'd imagine they would.

99% of bolts coming loose from what i've seen has been down to paint on the tapers and on the mating face of the wheel.

Then again, you have 2118's don't you? They don't have any paint in the bolt tapers from factory :up:

Try them a bit more at 110 and see how that goes. You've not got any paint or powdercoat in the bolt tapers have you?

Shouldn't be a problem as long as they are sitting flat against the hub. Torquing to 110nm?

I think the R in AD08R is just the name, they're far from an R compound especially as they're a treadwear 200.

Depends on the spacers, what thickness are they and are they hubcentric?

They're just as safe as wheel bolts. It's usually the user that's the problem.

That's the front hub you're thinking of. The rear hub nut can be undone at any time as it doesn't turn the hub.

I think they'll all go yeah. It's going to cost Ford a lot of money. Whether it'll effect used values is yet to be seen, but I bet a few will have second thoughts about one.

Essentially yeah, but the air only goes into the cold side and then straight into the intercooler. For the power Dan's will be running, the intercooler shouldn't have a problem cooling the intake temps to the ideal temperature tbh.
