Yeah I remember reading your thread mate.
Definately got noises when I shake the wheels side to side.
Seems to be both sides. And when traveling over rough road surfaces the steering wheel gets pulled left and right
It's the bit that says 0.16
Renault recommend 0.12 give or take.
I think the camber on my standard cup suspension is -0.5
It's all down to preference I would have thought that your camber would wear the insides of the tyres.
Camber Is good for cornering but not so good for straight roads...
Looks like they got yours right. Toe out as it should be according to Renault specs. Running quiet a lot Of camber though!
Probably why it feels so different. Toe was miles out before.
Tell me about it. I had it done on the hunter system but they set it to -12 degrees.
I would have thought +12 degrees toe would scrub the tyres out quicker? :s
I'm a bit confused. From what I can gather a 182 should be set to 12 degrees toe out according to the f4r PDF and the figures Edde has posted in the guides section.
Is this correct? Every time my alignment gets done they set it to 12 degrees toe in.
I always thought toe had to be slightly in...
I think I might need some track rods. Are the ones from eurocarparts the right ones for a 182 with cup packs?.
There seems to be a couple of different lengths to choose from?.
I have an SMI steering rack.
Thanks for the advice people. I have bled brakes before I just thought it might make things a little easier but as I might only bleed the brakes once a year max it's hardly worth it.
Anyone else's Clio suffering from stone chips on the rear quarter just infront of the rear wheel.
Mines always had them since I've had it. Annoys me. Just wondered if it was fairly common?
