I use an ML, yes it's petrol and it's mpg is poor to say the least but it has a huge tow weight that's just over 3600kg (providing you have the right license otherwise there's issues there I believe, but that's another story) and use it daily too
In my experience it varies car by car, a lot depends on condition of roads the cars been driven over, best off having and seeing if there's any movement in the bushes or ask a garage to check them, if they've never been changed in the cars life then they probably won't be at their best now
I could be wrong but my understanding is that by using the side mount option the seat will be 'fixed' into position, in order to have it adjustable you'll need to attach runners to the base instead, I don't think you can do both as the side mounts sit wider apart on the seat subframe although as...
Admittedly it wasn't on my clio but when the merc did this it was the brake light switch playing up, as with most things electrical though it's well worth having diagnostics checked first rather than just changing part after part in the hope you'll fix the issue
Ahh I see, you're looking to replace it then? If so try something like led alarm light on ebay. Some will be flashing dummy lights but you can get replacement ones too
You'll get away with the drivers side, but passenger one is another story. If you're not too confident I'm only in Westbury if you wanted to drop over, im more than happy to lend a hand
It certainly should do, I did some work on one a while ago with the exact same symptoms (albeit with higher idle speed) and once proper gaskets were in it ran spot on
Won't let me edit the above but can recommend Carson, have used them a few times and have always been impressed with the results, ranging from run of the mill to exhaust scraping low and also 4x4's on 22" wheels
@Sesqui89 Carson tyres in Melksham or J Day in Henstridge both have Hunter kit, if you search for alignmycar.co.uk it will bring up who uses Hunter alignment
They're part of the lower dash I believe, the adjustable parts may well come out with some force (probably have to break them out) but the rest is moulded with the dash
You'll need to bleed the brakes, new caliper will have air in it and once you take brake line off old one it'll start to leak, with the potential to allow air into brake line/s if apart for long enough
I'd say it's the air con dryer, removes moisture from system. As above probably uv dye for detecting leaks, out of interest does the air con actually work?
It'll probably clean up ok to be honest, otherwise it's a case of cutting it off a few inches back (so that you have some wiring to use) and connecting a new one on, personally I solder everything but you could use crimp on connectors I'd need be
Check condition of the connection for the rear light, possibly corrosion to the connector, could be bad earth point, this is under the rear plastic panel where the boot locks into place
I didn't but probably will next time, if youre hoing to change them speak to renault parts direct, the middle gasket you out up a photo of is about 6 quid with them
I was going to say no but having looked at it again it's more evident than first appeared
This is mine, couldn't get a beeter photo as the mrs car was sat in front and I was too lazy to move it first.
I did indeed use 8mm bolts, I tried 10's first but it's all a little too tight and didn't sit...
