It's been a good 6 months since I've updated this and there's been a few bits done, and 3 more track days (2 at Llandow and Castle Combe last Friday 04/11)
We moved over to the forest of dean at the end of April so I didn't have a chance to do much before our first time at Llandow, quick...
Sorry it's not the best photo no 16 is the LH rear belt and 17 RH, they are wired directly back to the airbag ecu and should be at the pins shown
The black connector with the two green wires and a pink/red is for the boot light as well
You'll need to keep them connected unfortunately, or at least I did :(
The rear inertia connectors look exactly the same as the speaker connectors from memory, think they have a browny/orangey wire and a blue wire going into a white 2 pin plug, these I 'fooled' using a resistor
I had to reconnect the sensors in order to clear 179 and 180 fault codes, I couldn't get any resistors to work (didn't bother reconfiguring uch as it was only temporary, I now don't have any part of the airbag system left)
Can't remember 252/3 off the top of my head but can have a look when I'm...
From memory there's 2 bolts that hold the centre piece of the blower cowling in (and also go through into the cabin and hold the matrix assembly too.
The ac matrix and it's box are bolted in from inside behind where the clocks would be before the dash came out
Roughly around the rectangular...
I would imagine it'll be ok but I don't know for sure, logic would say the crank is the same across the various years but it's something I've never looked into, all I can suggest is have a look and see if your engine number is still visible, it's to the right of the dipstick on a small flat plate
Just got back from abusing them all day yesterday around Castle Combe and they are indeed absolutely superb, in the wet the grip is unreal, and even in the dry they more than hold their own.
It's safe to say I'll only be using r1r's in the wet from now on, kept them at 29- 30 psi hot and...
As @oreA mentioned a sport windscreen with auto light/wipers is £186 fitted (I know because I mentioned it a while ago over pm) or a bog standard non auto wizardry one is £112 fitted, I went for this one and it's been absolutely fine, Ive gotten rid of all unnecessary weight and gone track only...
I changed mine last year as my speed was working intermittently, before you order one I'd double check and make sure your car uses one (going by your username if you have a 182 the speedo uses the abs system rather than a sensor on gearbox)
Loose earth point under the top part of the dash perhaps? Or maybe a damaged wire in the drivers door shut. I see you got a science so I'd hazard a guess that it's the glow plug/emissions light coming on in the centre of the instruments?
Ok I think these are correct, obviously if you can get hold of their sizes then you'll find them cheaper elsewhere
3 bolts across top of bell housing
7703 002 687
4 across bottom
7703 002 961
There are a couple of different part numbers for those above but I believe the ones listed are...
It's not for the passenger airbag, I have no idea what either of them are for though 😧, both of these were on mine before I started stripping the wiring loom down. Can't remember if I've removed them or left them alone
Yeah 3 on top, 4 across the bottom, a stud and nut either side and 3 bolts for starter motor, I can give you the renault part numbers but I'm struggling at the moment with actual sizes
Hi Radu, cars looking very good. Have some info for 182 boot floor if you're still struggling?
Have a look through this
http://www.cliosport.net/attachments/boot-jpg.75267/ Renault do make a panel to convert to a 182 flat boot but it's not very cheap part number is 7782 324 920
Hopefully it...
Non standard bulbs have a history of messing around with the cars electrics (especially led bulbs), I imagine the main beam warning is staying on for this reason unfortunately.
Assuming everything was fine before you fitted the hid kit then that's all that can be causing the problem really, I'd...
You do need to tweak the wiring I'm afraid, have a look through this http://www.cliosport.net/threads/cliosport-nu-rear-lights-guide.85016/ might be of some help

I'd start off by checking if you have power at the rear wiper motor as it's not uncommon for wiring to break or be damaged where it comes through from the bodywork and into the bootlid.
As for the rear washer operating the fronts, there's a few threads on this I believe, theres a valve in the...
I'm pretty sure they're now called black sheep automotive? l met Matt when picking up an engine from someone there, I got the impression he was running it too
I'd say so looking at these
As for adjusting, I believe there's one (or more??) grub screws to be slackened off and then adjust as necessary and tigthen said grub screw/s back up
Sounds like it's associated with the window regulator mechanism, could be damaged or something catching at that particular point behind the doorcard.
If you're handy with the tools I'd say pop the doorcard off and have a look, see if there's any obvious damage or foreign object around the mechanism
