    What coilovers are these?

I'd very much doubt those rears would fit a mk2 to be honest, the springs look too wide to fit

Does a wheel size have an effect on a Track car

R1r's are available in both 195/50/15 and 205/50/15 for definite, I've just made the switch from rain sports to r1r's, not had the chanc to run them yet, next track day is 4th Nov so we'll see.

    Running low revs help!

Could well be the pre cat lambda sensor playing up, I had this on a mates 182, it gradually got worse and worse until it finally threw the engine management light on (this was when he came to see me and get the car plugged into my diagnostics). I'd recommend getting a diagnostic check done, and...

Help! Power window Issue with 172.

Yeah that's the thread, if you decide to bridge the wires (only to prove whether the switch is at fault mind) then leave the drivers side switch off and bridge one yellow wire to the grey and the other yellow to white (these 4 wires will be thicker than the others), you will need the switch on...

Help! Power window Issue with 172.

It's more than likely a switch problem in all honesty, you've probably read the conversation I had with another member the other week?

    Long Term Track Car Project

Not wanting to burst your bubble, you have bought the lower part of the column too haven't you? The electric columns split down but sport/hydraulic ones don't, I found this out the hard way at the beginning of the year :( I do like the way you're going with this, and very jealous at the...

    EPAS Conversion

This was my aim too, and I much prefer the feeling of EPAS, my engine revs up a lot easier too now it's not running all the aux systems but I can understand where the guys coming from in wanting to keep a/c if possible.

    EPAS Conversion

I have no idea whether any parts would be compatible but I know some of the dci's had a/c and they were fitted with EPAS from factory, my wife's old dci was one example, unfortunately I've already scrapped it but it's a thought, whilst it's very very unlikely anything would just bolt on there's...

    EPAS Conversion

I'd definetely look into getting a cup setup over the pms one, I don't think the pms a/c delete is designed to remove the PAS to begin with although there is a higher priced kit that does (circa £300 from memory) I've no idea as to how the pump will run for now, obviously it's designed to push...

    Black Ph1 - X459 DYB - Ebay.

I quite agree that it's overpriced but sometimes I guess that's life :( being part way through building my track/hillclimb/race etc clio I know I haven't got the time needed to commit to another just yet but the number of ph1's do seem to be dwindling. I guess I'll just have to bite the bullet...

    Black Ph1 - X459 DYB - Ebay.

Off to see family in Vancouver and I'm yet to book flights, I'm not sure my mates microlight would make it, I'll have to ask him and see what he says

    Black Ph1 - X459 DYB - Ebay.

I'd love to go and buy this and put it back to original spec, I have a massive soft spot for a ph1 and they look superb in black but I have a feeling the wife wouldn't be too impressed if I was to spend the holiday savings on another car.

    Spigot rings

Do you take the fronts off more often by any chance? Might be worth using a smear of copper grease or similar on the hub, see if it stops, it's something we used to do at Mercedes as their rear wheels seemed to always be a t#@t to get off

    Central locking issue

I'm sure thats normal isn't it? Don't think any of the clios I've had have operated the central locking from door locks

    EPAS Conversion

I'd lose the pump personally, I now run epas and the aux belt is only managing the water pump and alternator, as @barnesautos has said it's kind of pointless having the conversion done and then leaving the pump in place, it's only a case of using a shorter belt after all. This is assuming...

    PMS racing exhaust manifold

Could be wrong but I thought you couldn't run one of these with standard manifold as there physically isn't enough room? Does look like a lovely piece of kit though

The still not sure what to build build thread

Ok so most of these are from when we installed the cage, hence cable ties holding various pieces in place If you look closely you can see the centre pick up point on the tunnel in what was the rear footwell Again extra pick ups on b pillars And finally door x bars too As mentioned...

    182 xenons/hids into 172 cup

They do indeed just bolt in exactly as your current ones, all plugs/connectors are the same too. You may have issues come MOT time as technically xenons need an auto adjuster and headlamp washers to pass an MOT, however this is all down to the person carrying out said test. If it were me I'd...

The still not sure what to build build thread

Following with intereat as I'm hoping to progress to hillclimbing/sprinting next year. I went for a safety devices cage from Mark Fish, took advantage of one of the group buys, option 4 with the extra mount points on b pillars and tunnel, can always send some photos if you like Ads

I wouldn't bother with a used radiator, any parts supplier will be able to get hold of a new, or eBay for that matter.
