So first off the Clio needed some new rubber on the front, a service and a good old clean before we set off.

Beautiful my car doesn't look this clean very...
I'm uploading as we speak.
I think that figure was about right. I thought it was nearer the £700 mark.
Thanet well Lodges booked on Hoseasons I think the website was.
Good write up matey, however I do feel you missed out some very important photos. Like the one of you hanging over the side of the boat for instance. haha!.
It's true what Fred said. I done mine myself, after buying the tools and parts it didn't work out any cheaper. But then if you can get them at trade prices it should be.
I think the tools cost me 160.
It has improved my mpg. I saw 46mpg the other day on a long steady run. I could get 42 max before the map. And I seem to get a nice steady 35mpg during the week when commuting etc.
I think the standard map probably wastes fuel by running too rich. The performance map uses the fuel more...
I don't think we can assume the map has sacrificed peak Power. As said it can only be compared if it's done on the same car, rollers, day.
What mods have you got kev?
Common problem. Either buy new ones, which I think are about 12 quid or take the old ones apart and stretch the spring in them that pushes the valve shut.
You have to take the bumper off though. Easy job.
Where are you based?
I had this done at devil developments in littlehampton and they use a dynodynamics rolling road which IMO is the best type.
£42 all in for 3 power runs :)
Cheers for the positive comments their always good.
As said I'll put the ktec panel filter in and maybe invest in some matched inlets a bit later.
164 does seem a little low. As said a blowing exhaust or knackered lambda might cause lower power. Might be worth posting your rr graph so people...
Nice gotta love the 200s.
Be a big step up from your current car.
Mine made 172.1 bhp. I was hoping for something a bit closer to 182!
Got a couple of things I can do to try and squeeze a bit more :)
Thanks for the info Matt. Its handy to know it's about right.
I think ive gotta say i prefer it with the rstuner map on. Without it, it felt like it was so sluggish upto 5k.
I swung by my local DynoDynamics rolling road today on the way home from work (as you do) and thought I'd get it put on the rollers.
Tbh I'm not sure weather to be pleased or dissappointed about the power figure.
