Your best bet is to get an rs Tuner and use the map from that.
Better cold start, no backfiring and holding back.
More mid range punch.
Smooths out lumpy idle.
And I think it improves fuel economy.
Its worth it just for that.
Edit. Just realised you have a ph1. Not sure weather you...
My dephaser was easy to undo but my exhaust pulley was a b**ch even with a breaker bar, mainly because of the movement of the engine. I put a lump of wood between the engine and that back of the bay. This stopped it pushing the engine back when putting pressure on the bar and cracked it off...
I'm not sure but I gotta say I had the exact same experience.
Put my decat on with the second lambda bunged up behind the heat shield and still got the em light then after using the rs tuner it never came on again.
Keep it in a nice low gear and don't break the limits :) do it at night and you can go quiet slow then open it up. Can't be any worse than the London tunnel run we done a few months back!
I managed to hit it last night. Done a couple of passes. It's awesome. Was a bit disappointed about the cameras but was still good fun.
Just waiting for some sort of fine to come through the post now lol.

Looks like it might be coming from where the box joins the bell housing...
Quiet possible mate. Although I don't think it was me you saw during the week down Broadwater.
I quiet often go through Findon up on to the a24, mainly at weekends.
My selected photos from the evening. Sorry I didn't get many of yours Mark, as you know my memory card filled up. (note to self: get new memory card before lakes trip).

Lol I saw you on the way to arundel earlier, sorry I didn't notice until the last minute. Was in a day dream.
I know what you mean about a good ride height. Every time I meet up with Dr Jekyll he's car looks really nice low and makes mine look like a monster truck. And I do like the stiffer...
