Yeah they are the 1144 pads. The rubber backing has been stuck on them too Is it worth giving the backing plates another tickle with a grinder?

Few weeks ago I fit new discs and pads (brembo max + mintex pads). Pads were constantly squeaking (rotationally), took pads out and ground the backing plates down. Cured that Now they just squeal when coming to a full stop Any solutions welcome Ta

Had a diagnostics check done today, threw up a few codes so guy cleared them and ran it again and one popped back up. DF308 ( I think) 'bi-mode inlet solenoid' read a few threads after a search but still unclear as to what/where the isse is. Read that its something to do with the carbon...

Coming along nicely, engine looks really nice! As for the header tank and not being able to see the levels - wouldnt be too much work to get a sight gauge tapped in to solve that issue. Unless you've filled it up already, then it'll be a pain in the bum
