the 1.6 8v in the RXE actually responds extremely well to breathing mods. Proper cold air feed, decat and straight through exhaust sees pretty good gains in my experience.

If you actually allow the engine to idle for 1 minute for before driving and then take it easy for first 5/10minutes then its really not an issue
