Bloody hell, they are so good!
Any filters used on the photo top of this page to bring out the colour and "smoothness" of the sky? Or just some good PP?
1st was a white ph1 V6 "51" reg (didn't know they existed) at the Well hall road jct with the Rochester way - I was at the front of the traffic light queue and spotted the vents in my mirror!
2nd was a silver ph2 172 with lady driver near Shooters hill.... Very very low and dark wheels. Spotted...
Your right, there's an awful lot going on. I think that might be it, as it was supposed to place emphasis upon the "couple" (Me and the Mrs lol) and the photo is very busy.
I think I have a few from the railing. Might process a few more this evening.

Attempted to edit the one I killed above... Still not happy :(

I was somewhat lacking inspiration on holiday but here are the first few I've touched up.
Looking again I actually dislike the b&w I've done on this one. Also noticed the GF's hands are in an unusual position and the dress is kinked... Critique after editing FTL :( Portraits clearly not my...
Could have done with knowing that on holiday last week. They looked glorious on the camera. Get them home to full screen.... Uhmmmm, looks a tad bright out there to say the least.
Russ, this is sublime, possibly my favourite yet. The write up is a true credit to how much hard work goes into each detail, every time I read one of your threads your attention to the most minor of things bowls me over.
:approve:
^ That was my bad! Got very confused writing that post. Also the sigma is the 10-20 and the Tamron is the 10-24 I believe.
I've been spending too much time on comparison sites :S Brain frazzled!
Where's the tread about the homemade 1/2 172 trailer when you need it!

Lol!
I'm looking at a UWA lens atm as well. Weighing up a few price Vs performance and it's a tricky decision...
Have a look at the Sigma 10-24 and 10-20
Canon do a 10-20 as said and also a 10-22 which is rather pricey.
From what I gather the Sigma/Canon are probably the most popular.
Tamron also...
Not at all. For me it's the details that make it look a tad tacky. Stickers, wheels really not to my taste etc... I don't think I'd have any problem with it coming in white from the factory (they actually look great in white) or even having it resprayed in white and speccing some tasteful black...
Welcome, as said I'm in the exhaust and sticker camp.
Under the ash tray thingy next to the cigarette lighter is the OBD2 port. Think that's what your referring to.
