Great updates people! Really enjoyed browsing!
:o Been so lazy with the camera recently. I need to just start going out in the evenings to shoot for no reason.
Same here, reckon I drove on it for over a month or two without noticing just after buying the car. Refreshed with new springs and it drove spot on, I had no idea what all the fuss was about RS handling-wise until I'd fixed it! :)
Do you mean something like this?

I might also be missing the point! Sorry lol...
Dan, a credit to you!
Bomber - Congrats
Personal faves; the candid shots of the bride/bridesmaids getting ready (really nice personal touch), DOF in the Church (spot on!!), the field of yellow and the outdoor b&w.
Stunning pictures. No doubt a set that the couple will treasure for many years...
If it must be a ph2 then 172 cup with recaro's. If I could do it all again I'd have that.
Cup = Less to go wrong - Cheaper servicing.
Recaro's = nicer than "FF" interior and who uses the rear seats/aircon anyway
Looks good on the silver Lewis! Glad the wheels are ok :)
The centre caps are a bit rubbish lol... Set of Renault ones will really tidy them up though.
Sod doing it by hand when city powder coating will do it for £80 or £120 with tyres off and on. No experience of them but at that price it'd be rude not too!! IMO of course.
Decent primer, paint and lacquer for 4 wheels is surely going to set you back £50 anyway I'd have thought, plus then you...
Great write up mate :) You keeping the clio now?
Glad your enjoying the VX, saw you spotted over on .org getting some VX loving the other night :)
I am hoping to be joining you very soon still :D
Jesus Christ a lot of work went into that estate, seems like you're part time detailer part time car taker-aparter and putter back-togetherer!
Another thoroughly enjoyable read.
:)
^ Sound advice from the horses mouth so to speak. Sounds like a brilliant set up IMO. I'd do a few more track days and spend a few pennies on tuition in your position I think.
