Nothing wrong with heading towards turbo power IMO. I really like the power delivering in the R56 cooper S, despite its reliability issues (originally a Peugeot lump as far as I'm aware, same as used in the THP 207 GTI). Same can be said for the Corsa VXR and the small vag group 1.4 TSI's...

Cracking little cars. Is it the 1.6 or 1.8? My GF had the 1.8 and it was a brilliant little motor. Loved to be revved and the handling was pretty spot on!

Oiled/Greased and then bagged in ziploc/freezer-esque plastic bag thing is what my brother always advises. Don't know if the same would apply for cams?
