    Remapping - MPG Gains?

One thing I've noticed about the RSTuner map is that it seems to have got rid of the horrible cold start problem. It used to be horrible. The car would feel like it was struggling to rev and like it was holding back. The map seems to have eliminated this.

    RSTuner from fastchip

Yeah, diagnostics, performance analyzer, live data + other modules you can purchase. Handy bit of kit. I had a cheap OBD code reader before and it didn't tell you much at all. RStuner FTW!.

    Windows tints removed!!

Not as dear as the OEM one. The main thing with the CF ones is the stone chips I think. I did say I had a Skoda one here you could of had. Mind you I'll probably need it at some point when my splitter does get smashed.

    RSTuner from fastchip

Good question that. Sounds like he's bought somthing he doesn't really know about :(

    Windows tints removed!!

Yeah will be a nice touch. Makes the car look lower and will be nice against the silver bumper. I'm glad I went for a CF splitter. They do look the tits.

    Remapping - MPG Gains?

Mines worse with the Rstuner map, I'm sure of it. But It is the overrun map so its to be expected.

    Advice needed (AUX BELT)

Oh yeah I seem to remember Fred saying somthing about the pulley should be offset on the pas pump or somthing. And alot of patterned ones arent.

    Advice needed (AUX BELT)

Maybe it wasn't quiet on one of the pulleys properly the first time?. Would be easy done. The access is pretty dia. Did you renew the tensioner? Them things are silly tight.

    Which exhaust 182

I had an RS192 first off, not a bad sounding exhust if you want it a fraction louder than standard. Good value for money but the fitment is a bit of a pain and aligning the tail pipes is a bit of a ball ache. Especially if you want it to sit nice and high in the bumper cut outs because the box's...

    Advice needed (AUX BELT)

Double check you've got the belt over the pulleys in the right order. I know its pretty self explanitory but I can't see why it would be coming off the PAS pump unless all the pulleys aren't in line?. When I done mine, the belt was quiet tight before I even pushed the alternator back up into...

    Borrow/hire locking tools.

Also i've got a full set of renault timing tools ;)
  17. Joe R26

    Borrow/hire locking tools.

you need to slacken the dephaser regardless because you need the pulleys loose to get the timing spot on when you put it back together.

Another Cheeky Videos of the 182 (pops and bangs included)

The yozza sounds nice with the cat on, its much quieter without the decat. But in saying that it sounds awesome decatted if you can handle it

    Which exhaust 182

Yozza with cat is nice. Yozza with decat is insane :D

Its definitely not to everyones taste. But each to their own. Its just a bit of fun at the end of the day.
  21. Joe R26

    Anyone recognise this 182??

I wouldn't say 95k is high mileage, aslong as its been looked after.

haha, i'm not often a passenger, and I didn't know the roads. I nearly took the plastic handle with me when I got out though :p

I just put the overrun map on my car yesterday with the RStuner. Had 150 miles of endless fun yesterday!. Love it. Thanks for taking me out in your car Ellen. It was good to hear it in action before going ahead with it. Its not really for the faint hearted. And its ten fold louder in real...

    RS Tuner PA Graph

I might have to try it again on another road incase it wasn't level or i had a tail wind lol, i know the weight was spot on i weighed it before i done that run
  25. Joe R26

    RS Tuner PA Graph

Thats power at the wheels, so sounds a bit high to me. I think if you add to drag to the wheel power it gives you the power at the fly roughly. It works out at somthing like 194bhp which is impossible as far as I'm aware.
  26. Joe R26

    RS Tuner PA Graph

I used the performance analyzer on the RS Tuner today, this is before running any updated calibrations. Only mods are K-tech panel filter, Yozza exhaust and decat. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Anyone know much about these graphs? Is this the sort of power I should be expecting?. Any info...

    removing water pump

I managed to get some spray from a motor factors it was still a b**ch to do but it made it easier! Cars all built back up now and running sweet, after all the pissing about taking the pas pump off it turned out to be the water pump bearing making that horrible grinding noise, i'm glad its done...
