One thing I've noticed about the RSTuner map is that it seems to have got rid of the horrible cold start problem.
It used to be horrible. The car would feel like it was struggling to rev and like it was holding back. The map seems to have eliminated this.
Yeah, diagnostics, performance analyzer, live data + other modules you can purchase.
Handy bit of kit. I had a cheap OBD code reader before and it didn't tell you much at all. RStuner FTW!.
Not as dear as the OEM one. The main thing with the CF ones is the stone chips I think.
I did say I had a Skoda one here you could of had. Mind you I'll probably need it at some point when my splitter does get smashed.
Yeah will be a nice touch. Makes the car look lower and will be nice against the silver bumper.
I'm glad I went for a CF splitter. They do look the tits.
Nice one. I got mine last week. Awesome bit of kit :p
Piss easy to use aswell if you have some common sense and can read. :D
I just need a half decent laptop now to accomodate it lol.
Maybe it wasn't quiet on one of the pulleys properly the first time?. Would be easy done. The access is pretty dia.
Did you renew the tensioner? Them things are silly tight.
I had an RS192 first off, not a bad sounding exhust if you want it a fraction louder than standard. Good value for money but the fitment is a bit of a pain and aligning the tail pipes is a bit of a ball ache. Especially if you want it to sit nice and high in the bumper cut outs because the box's...
Double check you've got the belt over the pulleys in the right order. I know its pretty self explanitory but I can't see why it would be coming off the PAS pump unless all the pulleys aren't in line?.
When I done mine, the belt was quiet tight before I even pushed the alternator back up into...
I just put the overrun map on my car yesterday with the RStuner. Had 150 miles of endless fun yesterday!. Love it.
Thanks for taking me out in your car Ellen. It was good to hear it in action before going ahead with it. Its not really for the faint hearted.
And its ten fold louder in real...
I might have to try it again on another road incase it wasn't level or i had a tail wind lol, i know the weight was spot on i weighed it before i done that run
Thats power at the wheels, so sounds a bit high to me.
I think if you add to drag to the wheel power it gives you the power at the fly roughly. It works out at somthing like 194bhp which is impossible as far as I'm aware.
I used the performance analyzer on the RS Tuner today, this is before running any updated calibrations. Only mods are K-tech panel filter, Yozza exhaust and decat.

Anyone know much about these graphs? Is this the sort of power I should be expecting?.
Any info...
I managed to get some spray from a motor factors it was still a b**ch to do but it made it easier! Cars all built back up now and running sweet, after all the pissing about taking the pas pump off it turned out to be the water pump bearing making that horrible grinding noise, i'm glad its done...
