Not sure what you have going on there but as said my sliders are only 25mm tall and the seat cushion is only 15mm.
Feel like your in the car rather than sat on it like you do with the standard seats.
If you have pulled out the crankshaft sensor wiring it will never start, the ecu won't know the engine is turning over.
By the new modified sensor and plug and fit that, save you trying to find the right terminals. Parts are circa £26 from Remault.
iirc yeah they are but it doesn't matter if they are longer or shorter, they have a shared adjustment mechanism on them so are adjusted evenly.
Have you tried grabbing the end of the cable on the bad side with pliers at the calliper? Good chance it could be snapped and it will pull out the sheath.
If your doing it properly I.e seem welding etc then R-Sport will have a patch kit with lots of laser cut/bent pieces for around the chassis rails and strut tops and so on.
There are two versions of OMP base frames (low and normal) and I am using low OMP side mounts (no drilling) and I'm sat about 40mm above the base frame with my seats.
I find my seat okay on the road car just now but you could remove the sliders on my setup to move 25mm lower and then another...
I don't see why his misses or anyone that's vertically challenged cant drive my car, it's on sliders?!?
That is the safest way possible IMO and you can go racing like this which I know wasn't in the question but shows that scouts deem it safe enough. Cutting and welding standard stuff is just a...
Yes....OMP low base frame, generic TUV approved bucket seat slider, side mounts then seat.
It a lot lower than what you'll get with adapted standard sliders which is what I needed due to head protection on my seats.
Lol how long did that take you of trawling. You also have to make sure the centre raised piece is big enough in diameter so it doesn't hit the hub carrier.
Both really......if the 'specialist' was happy with it don't worry, you'll be fine. What Steve has said just shows there is some wear/mileage in the tensioner, there good for another how ever many years and miles yet.
Neither would I Steven/Stephen? as its probably seen a good few miles on it but all sorts of keich gets repeated over and over on here about belts....really gets my back up tbh.
Yeah basically, a rolling road would have to be used to decide what was bad or good really, as said it does nothing for idling and you think the car is running bad which it is from a smooth running sense but goes like he'll up the revs. Even with the timing it the 'good' way it won't do anything...
I'm looking for it but I'm sure it's book marked to my phone as I can't find it on iPad, I won't have access to my phone for a couple weeks either but I'll scratch my head tonight.
I prefer the readily available modified route for your circumstances and you will too when you see the prices haha.
172 cups are the car to have with them regs it seems.
PMS top mounts and strut brace are allowed according current regs.
Also it looks like they will impose a minimum weight too which will be good for fairness.
Being an open French class it looks like Clio's won't be the cars doing the...
Martin have you not thought of having 5mm machined of the outer diameter of the scenic disks, it won't cost much.
I have a website saved somewhere that does all sorts of disks, I'll see if I can find it. They are really expensive though
Cracking idea on the adjustable wishbone bushes, they could almost be manipulated to give more caster too. Wether they hold up to abuse is a different story.
I am also very bored, day 5 in my cabin so you could imagine.
Old poor pic of mine, previous owners must have loved a bit of heel n toe, a good 5-10mm worn of the side lol.
I already have a Prodrive custom built engine loom for my thing it's the interior side with the relay/fuses for the lights, dash, wiper, heated screens etc that would have been nice.
I bet that sold to a mate tbh, I wouldn't be happy letting it go for that price.
Cheers Ian, have you had a pump apart to look at the castings? I'm tempted to buy a new one and dress it for piece of mind.
Also did you see a higher pressure further up the revs?
