chris with the ST, isn't Ming who was a Saab tech years ago?
Got a best mate in engine r&d, Koen (Chinese fella)

Don't normally get drawn in to CS nonsense but yes it's true, normally traction control will always hinder progress on snow and ice. Look at all the divs in there rwd cars with there T/C on not getting anywhere. Rwd will be prodominantly poor on snow but you can get about!
However ESP can really...
Hi Chris either wax is fine there won't be any difference! For better durability you want to a high temp sealant such as finishkare 1000p or even better c.quartz Dlux.
Regarding the cg wet finish, it's sealant based so should be applied before the wax!!
Cheers

Hello James hope things are going well with you. Yeah car looks and going well mate, came up so well for its age and mileage, certainly been looked after in its life. Def not a garage queen, use most days, and will be tracked when the weather improves! ;)
Turns out it had factory recaro's hence...
Gally is spot and Andy @ carpro uk is a top bloke.
Not much impresses me in the detailing world anymore, however c.quartz is so good, I decided to become an authorised C.Quartz Finest authorised Detailer!! Am pretty chuffed tbh.
CarPro so far, have in my eyes lead the market in next gen stuff...

Whilst I would normally agree with this statemen with Bose and the like, the quite comfort 15 are superb. I have a pair of Grado's and I would rate the sound as good, if not a different sound but obviously the Bose are brilliant sound deadners. They keep me sane on long haul flights!

One of my all time fav's (and I've tried/owned alot!) would have to be Zymol Glasur. Just a good all rounder at a realistic price and gives you a special/boutique feel.
Im sure Gally will admit we don't use much in the way of products these days, got a cupboard of boutique waxes covering dust...
Tom what exactly do you want to achieve.
So..Snow foam I would look at AutoBrite direct, they do a foam gun and foam kit at an unbeatable price.
Clay would be Bilt Hamber medium
polish-Scholl s17+.
wax- I would recomend a sealant on silver. Last longer an will make it look better. Maybe...
Nilfisk with 120-130 bar. Around the £150 mark will last. And look at detailing world, autobrite direct section for their deal on foam lance. It won't be beaten!

Funny (not for you),I was just reading about that! That's dedication!
engine was breathing a bit heavy so had a rebuild to freshen it up. Still pulling like a trooper, 50 miles before its on 100k! It's spot on. Will get it on the rollers in the new year but I'm expecting 190. Not that the...

At this point the temperature decided to dip below freezing.Camera went away and i cracked on. The poxy water was freezing on the car, notideal! Usual process above was carried out, and brought in to the workshop toclay.
Bilt Hamber medium clay used. Little tip, instead of using your clay like...
So the plan was a week long wet sand detail (to remove thefactory orange peel) but again due to customers cars it couldn’t get done L Nevertheless I wantedthe car to a certain standard with a layer of Cquartz to protect over thewinter months. For now this will do, but i will revisit to carry out...
Ask a silly question and all that lol!
police are hot on snow lumps flying off these days. You really need a soft hand broom, and being very carefull take off 80% of the snow leaving a small layer on top that will slide of when you drive. This way your not touching the paint. It's the only safe...
Hello all, thought it was about time I put up a projects thread as promised. Now to start with this isn’t the usual thread you will finding in the projects, but i know it might be of interest to some of you! Im a detailer and mechanic by trade so all the work from here on in naturally has tobe...
This. Exo is good but theirs a lot of BS hype around it and as said isn't a ceramic. Cquartz is now what I offer my customers as an upgrade from a traditiotional sealant, it's a nice product at a good price minus the bs!

You can strip it off by leaving it in something like white spirit. It will be just black plastic then, not colour of texture/finish but then could be painted if you so wished!
