I use Kranzle (for full time work) but if it wasn't kranzle it would be nilfisk, there good machines at good prices! You won't have any regrets, and magifoam is cool and the gang! Just in time for winter-Enjoy ;)
Bit of a random one, but how easy is it to sell an engine for one of these? I would like to hear from the people that have.
Say an average mileage one? Also if it was to be sold with a fresh, genuine renault cambelt and aux kit bolted on (properly) would this attract more interest and a higher...
Yeah Astons always come from the factory like this. I do a fair bit for an AM dealer. This is the downside to DA sanding, flat block sanding is normally always the best option and won't suffer pig talis. You shouldn't jump straight for g3 (if ever!!) as its probably far too abrasive!

haha i like that! TBH most VW like Daniel said have a very hard top coat...but not all! Take each car as they come, chances are you will find on most cars they have had some sort of respray in places which could be alot softer than the oem paint.
Ref. the burning through to bare metal, most...
Ooops stupid iPhone.
I never said that comment, it will correct to an extent of course, but it's not a proper polish. A pad with water 'could' burn through on certain paints.
Dude I wasn't having a pop, thing is you need to try and asses all panels individually. (Ideally with a paint thickness gauge). You could attack oem paint say on the roof with an aggressive compound, then move onto the bonnet that could of had a blow in,and would strip the clear coat straight...
I do agree with yellow Dave, and you should be working from least aggressive and working up. Thing is, your looking at it in the wrong way, Your asking What shall i use with this one pad I've got. you really need a selection of pads and polishes.
However to answer your question the orange LC...
Ueah but with a foam filter attached effectively acting like a sponge! Mk1 FRS suffered with this with the typhoons so they fitted them with a water sock (no joke!)
looks like the clio typhoon has a sock also from the pics!
Tbh I have home made Ik with the large itg foam filter and I feel...
Well sorrreeyyy! Was trying to help, as I might know a little about these things! You really need to get over to detailing world forum and start swotting up, then buy the gear and start practicing. No offence to CS but you can't learn machine polishing skills from a cliosport forum!

As above I've got a sabelt wheel on currently that needs attention and a 197 wheel in the garage that needs attention, just don't know which to get retrimmed?! I love the alcantara on the sabelt for like one day then It goes to s**t. So was thinking leather, however I don't want it looking...
Only looking at the pics from my iPhone so hard to say. When you rub your hand along the paint is it rough as it raised bits or amooth. Sap can be a c**t to clean. But like I say, just looking at it, it looks like a good machine polish will bring that back. Where do you live?
You haven't said what you want to improve on the cup? More speed, handling etc? Rstuner will improve day to day running but don't expect it to catch your y-fonts on fire, remaps on NA are not what there like on a charged engine! Does improve on cold start lumpiness and gives a less restrictive...
Snappy just the man! Got a sabelt wheel, probably the easiest type for you. How much for a retrim in all black suede/alcantara (which is what they are standard)?
im debating having it done in leather, but don't want that extra padded feel/look to it like some retrim a seen to have! There was a...
Just got cover from brentacre, after getting positive reviews on (mainly) here and other forums. I'm 28, 182 with all mods declared (cams etc), full comp for just over 550 squidlies. Happy with that! And they transferred my no claims from a traders policy after pretty much everyone else...
